Paystack and Xero Integration Aims to Ease Payments for African Businesses

Paystack, one of the prominent African payments companies, has partnered with Xero (via Stripe) to assist small businesses in South Africa to have an easy invoicing and payment process.
This integration enables companies to deliver online invoices which have a “Pay Now” link attached. The customers can then decide from numerous payment methods which include cards, bank transfers, and Apple Pay. The payments are in direct sync with Xero and are automatically matched with customer records thereby reducing the time and effort that reconciliation requires.
This is very important because small businesses barely survive late payments, and cash flow is always uncertain. Data from Xero reveals that in the last year, 58% of South African SMEs had cash flow problems, while 46% of them experienced late payments. This Itinct ion is committed to solving such problems by making it convenient for clients to pay and businesses to track invoices in real time.
Paystack believes that this provides speed, security, and convenience to the customers by coupling local payment methods, high transaction success, and fraud protection with a cloud-based accounting platform. For entrepreneurs who are multitasking, this can be a source of time-saving which they can dedicate to growing their businesses.
This step may be a game-changer in the way small businesses operate in Africa thus enabling them to have smooth cash flow and better financial management.
