Africa is being reshaped by emerging digital and green business models that are driving a new phase of economic transformation in 2026. From techenabled agriculture and fintech platforms to youthled manufacturing and creativeeconomy ventures, entrepreneurs are leveraging mobile connectivity, ecommerce, and digital payments to build scalable businesses across the continent. The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is playing a pivotal role, creating a single market of over 1.5 billion people and enabling startups and SMEs to expand beyond national borders and export valueadded products rather than raw commodities.
